Five people were arrested in the Lincoln City area as part of investigations by the Lincoln Interagency Narcotics Team.
Detectives served three narcotics-related search warrants with the help of the Lincoln City police department, Oregon State Police and OSP SWAT.
Two of the warrants were served simultaneously at about 5 a.m. Friday at two locations. Authorities seized methamphetamine and other evidence. Investigators arrested Eric Jones at one location on a parole violation warrant and Amanda Plummer at the other location for allegedly possessing meth.
Authorities tried to contact a third suspect, Samuel Clark, at a third address. They say he was hiding in an attic and refused to surrender. SWAT members used chemical munitions to force him out of hiding. Clark was arrested on a parole board warrant. Authorities also arrested Kayla Potter and Alfred Varela II for allegedly trying to conceal Clark from investigators.
