PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The Portland Timbers honored several team members during an end-of-the-season awards banquet Sunday night.
The "Stand Together" banquet recognized players for their contributions both on and off the field during the team's inaugural season.
Kenny Cooper received the "Golden Boot" award for being the Timbers' leading scorer, with 8 goals on the year.
Captain Jack Jewsbury was selected "Players' Player of the Year" by his teammates, while the supporters chose goalkeeper Troy Perkins as "Supporters' Player of the Year."
The Timbers honored Jake Gleeson with their "Humanitarian of the Year" award, for his community outreach efforts.
Darlington Nagbe's goal against Sporting KC on July 2 was selected as the "Play of the Year."

Young Player of the Year – Kalif Alhassan
Timbers U-23s Player of the Year – Brent Richards
Timbers/OYSA ODP Boys Coach of the Year – Joe Sottile
Timbers/OYSA ODP Boys Player of the Year – Rubio Rubin
Timbers/OYSA ODP Girls Coach of the Year – Mac Wilson
Timbers/OYSA ODP Girls Player of the Year – Ellie Boon
