A Washington couple will spend time behind bars after what investigators call a two week mail theft spree.
Jason and Jolynn May were arrested on Dec. 24, 2010 after stealing packages from porches and locked security mailboxes in southwest Washington.
On Tuesday, the couple was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Tacoma for theft or receipt of stolen mail.
Jolynn May, 35, was sentenced to one year in prison and her husband, Jason May, 35, was sentenced to three years behind bars.
In July 2011, a third co-conspirator, Mychal Lecouris, 31, was sentenced to two years in prison for his role in the crime spree.
The three were ordered to pay more than $69,000 in restitution to the U.S. Postal Service.
