This recipe is courtesy Crystal Miller of Lovin Spoonful Pies.
Mix together:
- Two pounds of marionberries (or really any fruit you choose)
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup flour
Instructions:
- Pour into pie shell
- Top with two tablespoons of real butter
- Cover with top half of crust
- 1.5-2 hours on the center rack at 350 degrees
- For best results, brush crust with egg white and sprinkle with granulated sugar before baking
