Person hit, killed by car in Wood Village

WOOD VILLAGE, OR (KPTV) -

A person was hit and killed by a car in Wood Village on Thursday night.

It happened about 8 p.m. near Northeast 238th Drive and West Arata Road.

Police say the driver who hit the pedestrian remained on the scene and is cooperating with investigators.

The cause of the crash is not yet known. Police have not identified the person who was killed.
