Man charged with 57 counts of sex abuse

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A local man is being held on $14 million bail for some disturbing accusations.

Felix Hernandez-Mendoza is charged with 57 counts of sex abuse.

Child abuse detectives with Portland police say the abuse happened between 2009 and 2010, and they are investigating the case.

They also say Hernandez-Mendoza knew his victims and they aren't worried that there may be more victims out there.

Hernandez-Mendoza pleaded not guilty to several charges, including of rape, sex abuse and sodomy. He'll be back in court next month.
