A semi-truck struck a bicyclist in North Portland early Saturday morning.
The accident happened at about 1:15 a.m. on North Columbia Boulevard.
Portland police say the 25-year-old cyclist was riding south on Columbia with a friend.
The friend stopped for a red light, but the injured cyclist failed to stop for the light and was struck by the semi.
A witness told Fox 12 that both of his legs were broken in the crash.
Emergency crews took the injured cyclist to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
