This Valentine's Day, most couples will celebrate with boxes of chocolates, a fancy dinner or maybe a romantic comedy at their favorite theater.
But there's nothing uniquely Portland about that, is there?
For a different spin on a Valentine's Day treat, southeast Portland-based Olympic Provisions is delivering Salamigrams next week.
Salami bouquets will be delivered all over the Portland area, and each delivery will have a musical touch, too. Every Valentine will be serenaded by the lead singer of the Tumblers, who will sing his original song titled, Love Is Where The Meat Is.
The cost is $75 for a three-stem salami bouquet or $100 for a six-stem salami bouquet. Delivery dates range from Feb. 11 to Feb. 14.
The restaurant says you can also do the serenading yourself -- just pick up a salami bouquet at 107 SE Washington or 1632 NW Thurman after ordering online.
