A traffic stop near Roseburg led to the find of more than 7 pounds of marijuana.
Monday night, an Oregon State Police trooper stopped a Ford pickup headed North on I-5. Inside were Marc Wesley, 42, and Gerardo Torres-Rodriquez, 18, and, according to police, a load of pot.
They were pulled over for a traffic violation near milepost 122. The OSP trooper decided further investigation was necessary and found more than 7 pounds of pot with an estimated value of $17,500.
Both men were detained and cited to appear at a later date in Douglas County Circuit Court of Unlawful Possession and Delivery of a Controlled Substance - Marijuana.
