PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland Police are looking for the man who stabbed another man with scissors in Old Town Wednesday morning, investigators said.
The stabbing happened just before 8:30 a.m. in the area of NW 5th Avenue and Everett Street.
The 49-year-old victim told officers that he had gotten into a confrontation with a man who frequents the area, detectives said.
The victim claimed that the man stabbed him once in the shoulder with a pair of scissors, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 30s, 6' tall with a skinny build. He also has dirty blonde hair and scruffy facial hair, police said.
At the time of the alleged attack he was wearing a black trench coat and walking a small black-and-white dog, investigators said.
