PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of two men accused of beating two security guards in a downtown Portland parking garage.

Portland police have been looking for the two suspects since the Jan. 30 attack in the garage at SW Third and Alder.

The two employees spotted the men breaking into one of their cars in the garage at about 5:30 that morning. When they went to confront the suspects, one of the men pulled out a handgun while the other attacked the two employees with a 2-foot metal pipe.

Police said the two suspects stole a backpack from the car and left the garage.

Police have released sketches of the men on Wednesday along with their descriptions.

Both suspects are described as white men in their twenties. Police said the suspect with the handgun was described as being about 5'8" tall, with a medium build and was bald. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans at the time of the attack. The suspect with the pipe was about 5'6" tall, with a smaller build and was wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
