HILLSBORO, OR (KPTV) -
A 33-year-old man stabbed his father seven times with a 3-inch buck knife and then called 911, Hillsboro police said.
Officers said the fight between Tyson Zoren, 33, and Timothy Zoren, 54, started Tuesday morning at an auto repair shop on Southeast 39th Loop.
The two were arguing over auto repairs and began to physically struggle when Tyson Zoren pulled out the knife, according to detectives.
Police said he stabbed his father in the abdomen, back, head and neck.
The suspect then called for help and his father was taken to Oregon Health and Science University Hospital. Timothy Zoren's condition hasn't been released.
Tyson Zoren was taken into custody and faces assault-related charges.
