TUALATIN, OR (KPTV) -
The Tualatin Police Department is reporting an increase in burglaries in the Northwest portion of the city since September 2011, according to a news release issued by the department.
Detectives said some of the items stolen include laptops and antique firearms. Investigators said RVs have also been targeted.
In response to the burglaries, police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity they may see. Officers will also be increasing their patrols throughout the city, detectives said.
Detectives asked that anyone who suspects a crime is occurring or is about to occur to call 911.
