Man accused of posting Craigslist ads offering sex with ex-girlfriend

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

A 31-year-old Portland man is accused of making fraudulent Craigslist posts in which he posed as his estranged girlfriend and invited men to her home to have sex, according to a probable cause affidavit.

It all started after the relationship between Andre Flom and Catlin Moser was over. That's when Moser says Flom started to stalk her and send her random text messages about what she would be wearing or doing.

Eventually, Flom ended up in jail for reportedly harassing and choking Moser. When he got out, he took to the internet.

"He was posting my name, my phone number and my address on Craigslist for really obscene sex parties. I was having men showing up at my house all hours of the night," said Moser.

The posts, which police said were made by Flom over the course of a month, claimed to be from his ex-girlfriend. Some of the other ads asked for people to "dismantle and remove a children's play structure" and "dig up an ornamental tree" in the victim's yard, authorities said.

"I can understand being angry about a breakup, but there's nothing that warrants any of this," said Moser.

After an investigation, a Multnomah County detective was able to track the ads to an IP address. And this week, police served a search warrant at a home in Gladstone, where they seized cell phones and a computer in connection with the case.

Flom now faces charges of aggravated identity theft, identity theft and computer crimes and is being held on $30,000 bail.

His first court appearance was scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
