BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
Beaverton police are searching for the suspect in a Wednesday morning bank robbery at a local Bank of the West branch.
Officers said the robbery happened at about 11:32 a.m. at the bank located at 2921 SW Cedar Hills Blvd.
Police said the man entered the bank armed with a handgun and approached one of the tellers. Investigators said the suspect was given an unknown amount of money before he left the bank.
Officers arrived and searched the surrounding neighborhood, but did not find the suspect.
The suspect was described as a white man in his 40s or 50s with a medium build. Surveillance images show the man wearing a blue coat and matching pants with a black beanie and his face half-covered.
