Washington County Sheriff's deputies gave out 163 tickets during a sing operation on Interstate 5.
The two-day operation targeted aggressive drivers on a 7-mile stretch of the interstate near the Highway 217 interchange.
Deputies followed an ODOT semi-truck and watched how drivers interacted with it.
They looked for speeding, tail-gating, unsafe and un-signaled lane changes.
Deputies say they made 216 stops and each ticket could cost the driver $260.
The goal was to curb aggressive driving, which deputies say often causes accidents.
