EVERETT, WA (AP) -

A man who pleaded guilty Monday in Everett to killing his father and stepmother will be sentenced to life in prison without parole.

David "Joey" Pedersen pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder, and Snohomish County Prosecutor Mark Roe announced he would not seek the death penalty.

The Daily Herald reports the 31-year-old will likely receive the life sentence Friday in Everett.

Roe has not yet announced a decision for Pedersen's girlfriend, 28-year-old Holly Grigsby, who also was charged with aggravated murder in the September killings of 56-year-old Red Pedersen and 69-year-old DeeDee Pedersen.

The two defendants, who have white supremacist ties, also are accused of killing 19-year-old Cody Myers in western Oregon because his name sounded Jewish and Reginald Clark near Eureka, Calif., because he was black.
