PORTLAND, OR (AP) -

A nine-month investigation by state and local authorities in the mid-Willamette Valley yielded significant quantities of methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine and led to the arrests of 15 people.

The arrests on Tuesday in Linn, Benton and Marion counties also included several charges of racketeering.

Police seized nearly 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 7 pounds of heroin, more than 2 pounds of cocaine, firearms and about $95,000 in cash.

The Oregon Department of Justice says the organization was highly organized and sophisticated. In a week, it was capable of moving two pounds of heroin, with a street value of more than $170,000.
