Hundreds of central Oregon coast households are still without power, four days after a strong coastal storm blew through the area.
KCST-FM reports the storm on Monday left about 1,500 people without power. By Friday, 500 households in Lincoln and Coos counties were still without power.
Central Lincoln People's Utility District spokesman Chris Chandler says falling trees have stricken power lines and snapped power poles.
The outages have centered on pockets of heavy damage in the central coast area.
Chandler says there is no estimate for when power will be restored to those without it.
