An avalanche briefly closed Highway 35 about six miles north of Highway 26 on Wednesday.
Oregon State Police troopers and Oregon Department of Transportation crews headed to the avalanche to clear the highway and survey the scene. The closure was at milepost 63, which is about 5 miles away from the intersection with Warm Springs Highway (Highway 26.)
ODOT officials said the avalanche dumped about four feet of snow onto the highway. Crews used snow blowers and plows to clear the road.
The road was clear again by 1:15 p.m.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
