Man cited for doing donuts in state park

Posted: Updated:

Oregon State Police said that a man tore up landscaping at Milo McIver Park with his car.

Police said that at about 5:50 p.m. on April 24 a vehicle entered the park and spun circles in two grassy areas. A witness reported the vehicle's license plate number and description to a state parks employee.

An OSP trooper tracked down the plate number to a Dodge Dakota truck owned by Kenneth Burke. Last week, police contacted Burke and cited him to appear in Clackamas County Circuit Court for criminal mischief in the first degree.

The damage to the park, located near Estacada, is estimated to cost $2,000 to repair.
