An autistic boy found alone on a Portland MAX train last week will remain in foster care.
Officers found the 10-year-old Friday night at the platform on NE 60th Avenue.
After seeing news reports, several people came forward to help identify the child, but police said they had trouble tracking down his mother.
She finally came forward Saturday morning, but officials told the woman that her son had been placed in DHS custody.
Police said he'll stay in protective custody until a full investigation can be completed.
