MCMINNVILLE, OR (KPTV) -
A convicted DUII driver is facing new allegations of driving under the influence.
Police arrested Lorraine De Acevedo Thursday night in McMinnville after she reportedly rear-ended another car on Highway 99W and McDonald Lane at about 9 p.m.
Investigators say Acevedo, 44, failed to notice a red light at the intersection and a car stopped in her traffic lane. She reportedly rear-ended a Toyota Camry with two people inside. Neither person was injured in the crash.
Responding officers said Acevedo was clearly under the influence of intoxicants.
She claimed to be suffering from a medical issue. Police then called medical crews, who reportedly determined that Acevedo was not suffering a medical problem.
Police said Acevedo refused to perform field sobriety tests, or submit a breath sample.
She was booked into the Yamhill County Jail. Acevedo faces a number of charges, including DUII, reckless endangerment and driving with a suspended licence.
Acevedo's license was suspended in February 2012 after she was convicted of driving with a blood alcohol content of .19%.
