'Lost' star Matthew Fox arrested in Oregon

BEND, OR (KPTV/AP) -

Police in central Oregon arrested Lost star Matthew Fox on a driving under the influence charge last week.

Fox lives in Bend with his family, according to TMZ, who was first to report the story. He was pulled over Friday on suspicion of driving under the influence at around 3:30 a.m., TMZ learned, and he had a passenger in the car at the time.

Police in Bend said an officer noticed Fox failing to signal properly or stay within a lane of
traffic. During the ensuing stop, the officer decided Fox was driving under the influence and took him the Deschutes County Jail.

Deschutes County Jail deputies said the jail's photo machine was broken on the night he was taken into custody, and as a result, no mug shot was available. Jail staff told KPTV that Fox will have to return to have his photo taken at a later date.

The authorities declined to release the police report or any additional information.

Fox's lawyer did not return a call seeking comment.

Fox is perhaps best known for his roles on TV hits Lost and Party of Five.
