PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police are investigating a murder at a northeast Portland home.
Police received "shots fired" calls at a residence in the 14800 block of northeast Fremont Court about 11:40 p.m. Wednesday.
When officers arrived, they found an adult man dead at the scene.
Officers immediately began a search of the area for suspects. Several blocks were cordoned off; there was also police activity near Northeast 152nd Avenue and Sandy Boulevard.
A police spokesman said detectives have detained some people for questioning in connection with the homicide, but no one has been officially charged or booked into jail.
The investigation continues.
