The recent hazmat scares around town have many concerned.
So far, all the white powder found at local offices has turned out to be non-toxic.
If there was a real threat, fire officials and local hospitals say they're prepared to deal with the situation.
On Thursday, Legacy Emanuel showed off its new decontamination station that sits at the entrance to the emergency room.
It's only been in operation for a month and a half and it's designed to deal with any patients that may have come in contact with a potential chemical.
"If this is a mass causality event, you can get through six people and the time it takes to decontaminate someone is about 30 seconds to three minutes," said Ed Yoder, with Legacy Emanuel.
The decontamination station can wash down a patient and remove any chemicals from their body, making them safe before getting any necessary treatment.
