Fourth Plain hit-and-run suspect due back in court Friday

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

The man accused in a deadly hit-and-run accident in Vancouver is due back in court Friday.

Investigators said James Collins, 37, hit and killed a woman on May 3 on Fourth Plain Boulevard near Neals Lane.

Maria Delos-Carrasco Angulo, 25, died at the scene.

Collins faces charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run with a fatality.

He's being held in the Clark County Jail on $75,000 bail.

Collins is expected to enter a plea during his arraignment at 1:30.

Friends and family will gather to remember the victim Friday afternoon.

A memorial service is set for 3 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
