Brush fire burns 20 acres in Banks area

BANKS, OR (KPTV) -

A brush fire near Banks burned 20 to 25 acres of land Sunday.

The fire never threatened any structures as it burned near Highway 26 in the Buxton area. The address associated with the fire call was 26701 NW Ridge Road.

Banks firefighters received help from Washington County Fire District 2 and Forest Grove Fire in putting out the fire.

Crews planned to return to the site of the brush fire Monday.
