PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
TriMet has provided a glimpse at what some new buses will look like once they're added to the public transportation agency's fleet later this year.
An image released by the agency Monday shows a prototype of one of the 55 new buses TriMet has purchased.
The buses will include brighter LED lighting, larger windows and automatic drop-down snow chains. Four of the new buses will be hybrid-electric vehicles.
The new buses are expected to be on the road by September, according to the agency.
