Robbery investigation leads to marijuana grow operation

VANCOUVER, WA (KPTV) -

Investigators say they found an illegal marijuana growing and distribution operation while they were investigating a home invasion robbery and assault in Clark County. Police were serving a search warrant at a home on Northeast 124th Avenue near the intersection of 104th Street in Vancouver.

A nurse notified officers of an attack on Thursday, prompting police to investigate the home. Inside, they found an elaborate marijuana grow operation.

So far, investigators have not released the names of any suspects involved.
