Warrant Strike Team looking for woman who has been jailed 23 times

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Members of the Multnomah County Warrant Strike team are asking for the public's help in finding 30-year-old Latoyia King.

Recently, authorities said King was at a local bar and got into an argument with the female bartender. They said King threw a beer bottle at the woman's face and injured her nose.

Since 2000, deputies said King has been booked into the Multnomah County Jail 23 times and she's had more than 80 run-ins with police throughout her life.

Detective Todd Shanks said King has a history of arrests for rape, prostitution, aggravated assault and attempted murder.

He can't explain why she's back on the streets, but it's his job to bring her in.

"It is hard to believe that she is out right now," said Shanks.  "I don't know all the circumstances of what she was charged with or if plea agreements were made, but this is an extensive criminal history."

If you know anything about King or where she might be, call the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office tip line at 503-261-2810.
