Three men arrested by Gang Enforcement Team

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Portland Police Bureau Special Emergency Reaction Team served a search warrant for the Gang Enforcement Team at an apartment complex in the 12900 block of Southeast Division on Thursday morning.

The warrant was related to a gang shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 13.

Amber Dewit-Malone, 23, was arrested the day of the shooting.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, the Gang Enforcement Team detectives obtained a search warrant to look for additional items of evidence. The gang team recovered guns, cash and drugs.

Dewit-Malone was charged with third-degree attempted escape. Demander Rouse, 21, was arrested on a charge of restraining order violation, and 20-year-old Damien Rouse was arrested on a parole violation and attempted assault in the second degree.

All three were booked in the Multnomah County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing.
