DUII suspect arrested outside patrol parking lot

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Multnomah County deputies caught a DUII suspect right in their own parking lot.

A sergeant said that on Thursday afternoon, he noticed a car stopped next to the patrol lot entry gate on Northeast Glisan Street.

When the driver got out, the sergeant approached him along with a captain from another office.

After talking to the man, who has been identified as 26-year-old Stephen Wheelon, deputies arrested him for DUII and booked him at the Multnomah County Detention Center.
