PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Two brothers are behind bars, accused of robbing a man on the St. Johns Bridge in Portland on Thursday night.

Immanuel Hazlewood, 25, faces charges including robbery and possession of methamphetamine.

A second suspect, identified as 20-year-old Jesse Hazlewood, also faces robbery charges.

The victim flagged down a police officer at 8:41 p.m. and reported that the suspects were on bicycles when they approached him on the street just north of the east end of the bridge.

One suspect pointed a silver handgun at him, and a second suspect pulled out a knife as they demanded he "empty his pockets," police said.

The victim tried to run away, but was shoved to the ground by one of the attackers, who then took off westbound across the bridge.

Additional officers arrived in the area and found the two suspects on the bridge.

Officers ordered the men to the ground at gunpoint, where they were taken into custody, investigators told FOX 12.

Police recovered a loaded handgun and a knife from the suspects, along with a small amount of meth, detectives said.

Both were booked into the Multnomah County Jail.
