PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
About 500 people showed up to Oaks Amusement Park Saturday to lose their locks for kids with cancer.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation hosted the 10th annual head shaving fundraiser and awareness event.
Among those in attendance were members of the Portland Timbers, police officers, firefighters, and Mayor Sam Adams.
St. Baldrick's funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.
