PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Thieves got away with thousands of dollars in items after breaking into a softball team's van in North Portland.
It happened to the Gray's Harbor College softball team at Delta Park between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday. An estimated $6,500 worth of property was taken, including a C-PAP breathing machine belonging to the assistant coach, and several laptops.
A similar theft took place in late April to vans belonging to the Oregon Institute of Technology softball team. It is not clear if the two thefts are related.
