PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
Portland police officers assigned to East Precinct arrested 29-year-old Joseph Wayne Kautz Monday night.
They said he was stopped in a stolen car in the 1900 block of Northeast 155th Avenue.
After taking Kautz into custody, officers learned he was also wanted by the Oregon State police.
OSP investigators claim that he ran from a traffic stop in the Welches area back on April 17.
Kautz was booked into the Multnomah County Jail on a charge of Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle along with warrants for Possession of Methamphetamine, a Probation Violation and a Parole Violation.
