PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The Oregon Liquor Control Commission said a northeast Portland gentleman's club must stop giving away free alcohol.
Last week, the OLCC sent the owner of Mynt Gentleman's Club on Sandy Boulevard a letter condemning the practice of offering free drinks.
The club let its liquor license expire last year, and the commission threatened criminal consequences should the club continue to violate the Oregon statute against giving out free alcohol.
Neighbors said they keep a close eye on the club because it has been a trouble spot over the years.
The parking lot was a murder scene in January 2008, when Mynt was a different club. Back then, neighbors said the club was considered a hotbed of noise, debris and drunk driving.
Fox 12 was unable to reach anyone from the club for comment.
