More than $3 million worth of pot were seized from two abandoned vehicles near Patagonia.
TUCSON, AZ (CBS5) -
Border Patrol agents from Tucson nabbed 6,153 pounds of marijuana from two abandoned vehicles near Patagonia on Wednesday.
The agents said the 604 bundles of pot were worth nearly $3.1 million and contained in two pickup trucks.
The vehicles were seized along with the marijuana. The Drug Enforcement Administration will take possession of the marijuana, according to a Customs and Border Protection news release.
The agents were from the Tucson Sector of the Sonoita Border Patrol Station.
