ALBANY, OR (KPTV) -
Thunderstorms moved in to parts of the Portland metro area Thursday afternoon and lightning strikes were reported near Wilsonville and Interstate 5.
A FOX 12 viewer also captured video of a funnel cloud while she was driving on Interstate 5, approximately five miles south of Albany. The cloud was seen at about 12:20 p.m., she said.
The National Weather Service said additional funnel clouds are unlikely, but can't be ruled out should another strong thunderstorm and updraft form.
Hail, thunder and lightning are possible until 6 p.m., according to FOX 12 meteorologists.
