PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
A man was sentenced Thursday to 11 years in prison for breaking into the home of a federal police officer.
Robert Clement pleaded guilty to one count of assault and two counts of burglary.
In October he broke into the home of an off-duty officer in Warren. The officer shot Clement in the shoulder and then called 911.
The officer works for the Federal Protective Services in Portland.
Along with the jail time, Clement will also be on post-prison supervision for three years and have to pay $16,000 in restitution.
