FAIRVIEW, OR (KPTV) -
Fairview police said they arrested a woman on a charge of interfering with a police officer Friday morning during the Reynolds school strike.
Officers said the woman was told to stay out of the way so a bus could get through at the bus barn near the middle school.
LeAnn Traylor, of Salem, was accused of trying to push past an officer who had told her to stop while buses were leaving the school yard. She was cited and released, police said.
Reynolds School District teachers have been on strike all week, as mediation sessions between the teachers union and the school district have ended without a settlement.
Classes have been canceled for the entire week.
Though earlier reports suggested the woman arrested was a teacher, police said they're not able to confirm that.
