A local technology company is out $15,000 after FOX 12's Most Wanted broke in and took off with their equipment.
Police say that at about 6 a.m. Tuesday, someone broke into Altsource on Southeast 10th Avenue in Portland.
Altsource is a software development company that now has to replace monitors, laptops and phones that were all stolen.
When Chief IT Administrator Mike Payne arrived at work, he noticed something wasn't right. Things were pushed aside and several large monitors were missing.
Payne says the thieves must have used wire cutters to cut the cables and then snatch the monitors.
Payne says they are a small business that does great things, and it's tough when someone attacks their livelihood.
The company is in the middle of a remodel, so their security cameras weren't set up. They said thieves broke into the lock box that was outside.
Payne says they are working on replacing everything and the company should be back on its feet within the next week.
Police have not made any arrests in the case.

It was the end of the school day. The kids at Plaza Towers Elementary School were stuffing their backpacks, looking forward to going home, playing with friends, eating snacks.
