Cyclist seriously hurt near Eagle Creek

EAGLE CREEK, OR (KPTV) -

A cyclist is in the hospital in serious condition with a head injury after being found along Highway 211 near Eagle Creek.

Oregon State police said the 60-year-old Southeast Portland man was found lying in the northbound lane near Judd Road Tuesday at about 3:20 p.m. He suffered a head injury and was flown to OHSU for treatment. He was not wearing a bike helmet.

Oregon State police said there is no evidence that another vehicle was involved. Anyone who may have seen what happened is asked to call Trooper Scott McLeod at (503) 731-3020 ext. 406.
