PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
The Portland Trail Blazers opened pre-draft workouts with a pair of 7-foot centers on Tuesday.
North Carolina's Tyler Zeller and Meyers Leonard of Illinois were among the players at the practice facility.
Plenty of other prospects will work out for coaches and scouts as the June 28 NBA draft gets closer.
General Manager Chad Buchanan said this is a bitter sweet time of year.
"It's exciting at the same time, you don't want to be in the lottery, but when it's actually upon you it's somewhat exciting because the fact you got some talented players coming through here like we saw today that you might have a chance to draft."
The NBA draft lottery is Wednesday night and that determines where teams will pick on draft night.
The Blazers could potentially have two top picks this year.
