BEAVERTON, OR (KPTV) -
A new Walmart Neighborhood Market has opened in Oregon.
The store, located in a once vacant building at 17275 Cornell Road in Beaverton, opened its doors to shoppers at 7:30 a.m. this morning.
It is the second Walmart Neighborhood Market in the Portland area.
The other store is located in West Linn.
The new Beaverton store features locally grown organic produce, a large wine selection, a bakery and deli in addition to household and pet products.
Jeremy Huckleberry, the manager of the new Walmart Neighborhood Market said, "I am excited to bring and share the Walmart brand to the Beaverton community."
The new store employs 80 full and part-time workers.
It's open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
