Portland City Council unanimously approves Mayor Adams' budget

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

The Portland City Council approved Mayor Sam Adams' budget.

Council members voted unanimously to support the plan.

The budget passing was good news for Portland Public Schools, who received a $5 million bailout.

The money will help keep jobs and school days from being cut.

The Portland School District had been facing a budget shortfall of more than $27 million.
