The Silverton Fire District was quick to respond to the scene of an overturned truck loaded with tons of grass seed.
The truck flipped on its side Thursday morning just outside of Silverton on Howell Prairie Road near Selah Springs Road.
When crews got there, they noticed the truck was leaking fuel and motor oil so they worked to get that contained as soon as possible.
The driver of the truck refused medical help and did not go to the hospital.
The trailer attached to the truck was carrying 27 tons of grass seed which was on its way to Canada. Before the rig could be righted, the tow company had to call for help to unload all of that seed to another truck.
