Driver killed in crash on North Columbia Blvd. in Portland

PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -

Portland police said a single vehicle car crash resulted in the death of the driver when his car crashed into a tree.

The crash occurred Thursday at about 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Columbia Boulevard and North Peninsular Avenue.

North Columbia Boulevard from Chautauqua to Peninsular was temporarily closed to all traffic.

The Portland Police Bureau Traffic Division Major Crash Team is investigating the crash.
