MILWAUKIE, OR (KPTV) -

Oregon State Police is releasing the names of the driver and pedestrian involved in Saturday night's crash just south of Milwaukie.

Troopers were called to the scene on Highway 99E near Concord at about 9:30 p.m.

An OSP spokesman says Richard Olsen, age 41, from Gresham, was not in a crosswalk when he tried to cross the highway from west to east.

He was struck in a northbound lane by an Isuzu Trooper driven by Melissa Ball of Milwaukie.

Paramedics rushed Olsen to Oregon Health & Science University to be treated for serious injuries.

State troopers are continuing to investigate the collision.
